Sentimental...

Every time I clean out a different part of the house, I'm always asking James to put things up in our garage sale pile, aka- attic. Well, the time has come. I've been waiting for the weather to cooperate, not be 100+ degrees, not be 32 degrees (yes, we've done garage sales in both), and it's time. So we've decided on this weekend. The inside of my house looks like Fisher Price has thrown up all over it. Seriously. I kept every little thing of Kennedie's, so there are totes upon totes of pink clothing. I've held onto every piece of baby gear, and seeing that my 18 month old is wearing 2T clothes, yes, we're in the clear to get rid of the baby gear. It makes me sad to see the price tags on the baby swing, the exersaucer, the jumperoo, the high chair. Oh, the memories. I just have to keep them close to my heart. The memories are there, not in those plastic pieces, right? I'm sure I'll get a little choked up to see some stranger walk across my yard with my things and drive off with my baby things in the back of their pick up truck...oh, I can feel the lump in my throat now...sniff, sniff...
