edits & cafeteria tables

Bring on the picture posts! Baby Canon is back home and it's greatness! And I've been playing with my photo editing program that I bought over a year ago. It all seemed really overwhelming and everytime that I'd pull out the manual and try to read over how to do something specific, I'd get really frustrated and give up. Well, since I've been working on my kitchen wall...I had this cool idea to mount some pictures on some wrapped canvas, so I went searching for some old favorite pictures...and came across this one. But I couldn't find the digital print, only one I had printed off of my home printer (not so good quality) and framed it in Colton's room. So I played around with it and it's now proudly displayed on a cool looking canvas (if I do say so myself)!
And on a side (funny) note...Kennedie and I were talking about this belly picture and I'm not sure if Colton has actually seen a pregnant belly or has had one pointed out to him. So Kennedie was trying to explain to him that that is him in mommy's tummy. He just kept saying, "Mommy's tummy...Mommy's hungry!" Guess it looks that way, huh?
Then, Kennedie got to have her sweet friend Kylee over after Vacation Bible School today and I snapped this one of them....fun girls!
Colton missed his nap with all the excitement going on at the house today, so by about 4:30 he concked out on the living room floor. He looked so sweet that I just HAD to snap this one. He still looks just like I remember him as a newborn when he sleeps. That precious, innocent face. I bought his nap mat for Mother's Day Out this week...and I'm not sure how I feel about that. I've been buying Kennedie's school supplies here and there. I bought her new lunch box yesterday. I went to a Homeowner's Association Meeting in the cafeteria of her school tonight. I sat there at that little cafeteria table and all I could think was how big that little table was going to seem to my baby girl in just 4 short weeks. Can this really be happening? Can she really be ready for Kindergarten? Or should I be asking AM I READY FOR KINDERGARTEN?
sigh
