Where do I even begin???

Let me start off by saying that I do realize that these words coming out of my 4 year old's mouth are a direct result of what she hears me say on a daily basis. No, not cussing, just way too mature for 4 years on this planet!
I bought some NutriPals drinks to try to give Colton...I'm trying to wean him and thought it might be something good to try. Kennedie asked if she could have some, took a sip, then said, "Mmm. This is how I always start my day." Again, maybe a little too much tv.
I was singing the new Alicia Keys song (yes, my kids think I'm a great singer!) while making dinner last night and K says, "Oh, I just adore that song!"
Granny and Poppa gave her a new heart charm for Valentine's Day. Later that night I was commenting on how pretty it is. She says, "Oh, it's so beautiful. I could almost cry."
We've been watching this cute show on Noggin called "The Upside Down Show." It's pretty silly, and basically 2 men playing with lots of imaginary things and they give you, the viewer, a pretend remote and they rewind, fast forward, slow motion, etc. It's really funny and both kids love watching it. Well, we ran to the store this afternoon and I loaded the groceries and both kids into the car, then ran the cart to the cart return. As I'm getting back into the car, K says, "Mommy, can you Fast Forward it?" What in the world is she talking about? I haven't even got music turned on yet? She repeats it two more times. Then I get it. She wants me to hurry it up. Wow.
Finally, about a month ago I was explaining to her that she needs to eat fruit and veggies so that she can grow and have lots of energy. She tells me that she still has the fruits and veggies in her tummy that she ate when she was a baby, so she doesn't need anymore. So I tried to explain to her that her body uses what it needs, then the rest of the food turns into teetee and poopoo. I could see her wheels just a turnin! For the next several days, she wanted to know how everything she put into her mouth was going to come out...teetee or poopoo. She stopped after a few days and it's been awhile since she's said anything. This morning I was playing with Colton and I said, "Colton, I could just eat you up!" K comes back with, "No, Mommy. He has tough skin so you can't eat him. And you really can't because then he would turn into poop!"
Stay tuned...
