Oh, My Aching Heart!

First, let me just get something off of my chest. I'm pretty sure you've all seen my you-know-who-I'm-talking-to notice at the top. I hate that I even have to put that there, but still feel that's it's necessary to leave it. If I have not given you permission (or even seen and/or talked to you in months) to COPY my family photos and PASTE them for your own personal use (which would only be for making others THINK you have this semi-normal, perfect life...which we all know it isn't), then I consider that dishonest and quite frankly, STEALING. So, quit visiting my blog, because I see you on it.

Well, now that I have that off of my chest, I'll move on!

We just got home last night from a 5 day stay in Oklahoma, visiting James' parents and brothers. It got super cold, and was even snowing...real snow, people...when we left. We had a great time, laughed, ate great food, drank great wine, and just enjoyed ourselves. I'll be posting pictures from our trip once things settle down a bit.

I'm running around like a crazy woman (more than I do on the regular days) trying to get things together for my baby boy's 2nd birthday party. DID YOU HEAR WHAT I JUST SAID, PEOPLE?!?! My BABY is turning TWO in 2 short days. Oh, my aching heart!!! It's so hard for me. It's like I have to acknowledge that my perfect baby is growing into this little boy. Last night, James, Kennedie and I got out the video of Kennedie's 2nd birthday party. Oh, how I cried and laughed. Her sweet little squeaky voice. I asked her, "How old are you, Kennedie?" And she answered, "Two, Mommy." Oh, I just melted!!!

I'm really excited about his party. This will be the 1st birthday party for Colton that James has been to. He was still in Iraq for his 1st, so I'm double excited about this one. So we'll be out getting all the last of the party supplies today...fun, fun!
