Whew! I think this may be a record...I haven't blogged in 2 1/2 weeks! I really hadn't taken many pictures, but I did finally get them ALL uploaded today. Be warned...they're random...and there are lots!
I came into the living room one night, wondering what was keeping the kids so quiet. This is how I found them.
Colton went through a phase where he would just yell for me after I laid him down. Sometimes he would venture out into the hall. James insisted that I just ignore him, instead of putting him back into his bed. So when I did ignore him, this is where I found him when I went to check on them before I turned in. Sweet, sweet boy!
Kennedie pulled all of her stuffed animals out of her big bucket one day and Howie thought it was the perfect place to chill. He kinda blends in, too!
And Colton even hid out there one day! Silly goose!
I was so glad that Colton and Kennedie's school egg hunts were at different times so that I could make them both!
Kennedie's school had an "educational" egg hunt. They numbered a bunch of eggs 1-12 and each kid had to find them in order. Great idea and so much fun!
Her BFF J...do you SEE how much taller my girl is?? She towers over her entire class!
Kennedie was sick last week and had a lot of down time at home. She decided that her American Girl doll, Julie, needed a new bed. So she sketched out a design (she actually called it a "blueprint"...how does she know these things??) and even measured her doll (height and width, people!) and wrote out all of these details. So on James' next day off, the worked together and made Julie her own bed. Isn't he the BEST daddy??
And of course, brother had to help too. James and C made a bridge for his cars.
Kennedie was learning about plants and flowers at school. She, Daddy & brother bear planted some sunflowers...and just a few days later this is what we already have! She didn't get her green thumb from me...
...because these are more up my alley! lol! (Wooden flowers my dad cut out years ago...I finally painted them and stuck them in my flowerbox. Cute, huh?)
We stuffed Colton in his "soupcase" and Kennedie wheeled him all around! Funny kids! (Ignore the lousy flash...not sure what happened there.)
Here's my guy on Easter morning, excited to see what the Easter bunny brought him!
And sweet sister...she was helping brother before she even went to check out her own basket! (That's Julie that she's holding!)

AND...the Easter Bunny paid us a visit...in our very own backyard! We've had some wild bunnies over the past few years, but haven't really seen any this year. Guess this LITTLE guy knew it was the perfect day to show up!
On our way into church on Easter morning. Precious!
Oh, how this little guy just melts my heart!
