I Have a Few Questions
Feel free to answer some, or all, or none (if you want to be a party pooper!) In no particular order, the random questions of the night are:
1. Are you watching The Bachelorette? Is it totally awkward for you too?
Yes!! There have only been a few seasons that I haven't watched, but I just fell in love with Ally last season. My faves are Frank, Roberto & Chris.
2. How often do you sweep/mop your floors?
I sweep every few days, and mop about every 2 weeks...and I run the vacuum over the tile when I do the carpets. Sometimes the kitchen needs a "spot sweep" under the table though.
3. Do you hate it when you can't walk barefoot on said floors because you obviously haven't swept often enough?
Ok, that's just a pet peeve of mine! I like to be barefoot in my house and if the floor is that bad...take care of it! I hate walking on nasty floors.
4. Do you have a cleaning schedule? If so, what is it? If not, how do you keep from your house being trashed 24/7, or do you care?
No set schedule. I usually try to do the laundry every 3-4 days...or once the hamper is full. I just clean things when they need done. And we always pick up the toys before bed so we can wake up to a clean house. And I just cannot sleep if there are dishes in the sink! Nothing is worse than waking up and having to see/smell dirty dishes.
5. How many loads of laundry do you do in a week?
I'd say about 4. But I'm loving summer. Summer=smaller clothes=smaller loads!
6. What is your all time favorite meal to cook?
Nothing fancy. We all really like Dorito salad...doesn't really require "cooking!"
7. Are you reading any books right now? If so, what are they?
Sadly, no. I need to get serious about scrapbooking. Poor Colton still doesn't have a scrapbook.
8. How do you and your husband share the chores? Are there specific things that you each do, or is it more of a team effort?
James is wonderful with this! He does the yard, the trash, catbox, and usually the toilets. I do the rest, but he's constantly asking what he can do to help me!
9. What are you most excited about this summer?
Going to Mexico...just not sure when that's going to be...for Aubri & Kyle's wedding!
10. What's your favorite Sonic drink?
Cherry limeade or large Coke.
11. Why do you/don't you blog?
I'd really love to print it through one of those companies to keep as sort of a scrapbook. It's just a nice way to document our lives and share these memories with family and friends.
12. Do you grow your own herbs?
Seriously?? Nope. K's growing watermelons, but that's as good as it gets around here, lol!
13. What's your best money saving tip?
Oh, saving money just gives me a crazy high! I love price matching at the grocery stores and using coupons. No credit cards either.
14. What is the most treasured toy in your house right now?
That can pretty much change day to day. They love their DS's. I got them some neat new watercolor paints...those were cool. Play-doh is always a hit, too.
15. If you had to rent a movie tonight (newish release), what would it be?
Well, we actually did rent one tonight...we usually rent MAYBE 3 a year, lol! I watched the Tooth Fairy with the kids...they loved it! I never saw Sex & the City...1 or 2...

1.Yes, I am watching The Bachelorette, I find it funny seeing how crazy some of the guys are! Casey and his tattoo - can't wait to see Ally's face when she sees it!! I have heard who the final 3 are if you want to know ahead of time!! Loving Roberto!
2. Mike is the floor man and he vacuums at least every 3 days and mops the same - he is pretty obsessive about floors, just like his Mum!
3. Yes, can't stand stepping on something with bare feet but dont tend to have that problem much when Mike is around!!
4.No schedule here, just as and when, but if we are having company I give it the full works!
5. Right now during potty training I feel as though I am always washing something, sigh!!

8. Hubby is a great help. He does the floor and the yard work, helps tidy up at the end of the day but he never touches the bathrooms and rarely the laundry - those are my dept.

12. We have a load of Rosemary bushes but more as a shrub than a herb garden! I would like to though.
13. Shopping online at the Children's Place. Biggest bargain was a pair of shorts for Hannah last year that cost me 89c!!
14. Kelli I thought you would have said your Baby Canon ;o) As of today I would say that the treasured toy would be a transformer that Nathan is so proud of!
15. I have no idea. I am lucky if I can fit in a movie after getting the kids to bed and the house tidied up and have the energy to stay awake for it!!
