Backyard Campout!

James has been talking for weeks about setting up the tent in the backyard and camping out with Kennedie. He decided to take advantage of his extra day off and Kennedie's holiday from school...and not to mention the cooler weather...nice!

(I had to squeeze this one of my little guy in...probably one of my latest favorites...seriously...I could just EAT him up.)

James had LOTS of help setting up the tent- ha! And there I was...just snapping pictures!

And THIS one...seriously makes me laugh out LOUD! There's my girl, so happy, so sweet, posing for a picture...so proud in her tent...and then there's her CRAZY little brother...

IN MID AIR jumping on the air mattress behind her!!! So stinkin' funny!!!!

Time to head outside...(and no, Mommy & Colton slept inside)

Looking for the first few stars in the sky

...and she's not so sure...I kissed her goodnight, and TWO MINUTES LATER she walked back in the back door, tears in her eyes, pillow and blanket in hand. She decided she was too scared, it was too dark and she was not going back out there!

So, I found some fun glow sticks and we talked a little more...and she somehow became convinced that it might be ok...

...and her Daddy is pretty silly with the flashlight...

so she decided to stay!

And she stayed all night!!! They camped out there all night long and woke up before the sun this morning! What fun memories!!!
