Today was my BABY boy's 1st day of Mother's Day Out! He's never been away like this, so I'm really not used to this kind of peace and quiet! I have been hearing my own thoughts...all day long...and I'm just not used to that. =)
We didn't send Kennedie to Mother's Day Out (twices a week until she was 3 1/2, just after Colton was born), so we were just a little hesitant about sending Colton. But he really is a different child and I really think he's ready for the social skills. He's never had a sitter (besides Granny, Poppa & Apple) and has only been away from me to go to the church nursery! Well, he went right in this morning (even though 2 of the kiddos were throwing the fits of their LIVES) and did not even look back! I was just fine leaving him, knowing that he was happy (and knowing that he was with his best bud, Cade)!

It's so very funny to me how different my kids really are! On Kennedie's 1st day, she was making up poses for me to take pictures of! I couldn't get Colton to take his hands off of his sweet face...he did not want to cooperate! Stinker!!

I hope he had fun! Love his lunchbox. Nathan's is a firetruck :o) Nathan had a good first day, teacher said he did really well - phew!!
Isn't it weird having a kidless house again - so strange!!
